A/P Rosa's work, 'Designing Calcium Silicate Cements with On-Demand Properties for Precision Endodontics,' has been selected as one of the 44 papers featured in the Editor's Collection Articles of the Journal of Dental Research since 2019. This curated collection highlights exceptional contributions to the field.

The study successfully demonstrates that genetic algorithms can be used to design cements with tailor-made properties, optimizing the material's setting time, pH, flowability, tensile strength, and radiopacity. The cements with tailor-made properties were also able to promote the differentiation of dental pulp stem cells, opening new avenues for the development of personalized endodontic treatments.
