Associate Professor Vinicius Rosa has been elected Vice-President of the International Association for Dental Research Dental Materials Group (DMG). His term will start in July/21 and will be raised the roles of President Elect and President in the subsequent years.

A/P Rosa is a member of IADR since 2005 when he joined the meeting in Baltimore/USA as an undergraduate student. In 2005 he received the Dental Materials Student Award which is presented by the Academy of Dental Materials to the most outstanding student researchers in the field of Dental Materials. He also received the 2007 George C. Paffenbarger Student Research Award from the Academy of Dental Materials to recognise the best paper in the field of Dental Materials annually. He is a member of editorial boards for Dental Materials, Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Prosthodontics and others. In January 2021, A/P Rosa will spearhead the research portfolio of NUS Faculty of Dentistry as the Vice-Dean (Research).
