In a recent study entitled "Top-cited Articles in Regenerative Endodontics: A Bibliometric Analysis", two of Dr Vinicius Rosa’s publication papers were ranked in 26th and 98th places in Journal of Endodontics 100 most cited paper in the area of Regenerative Endodontics.
In the 26th place is the paper “Dental pulp tissue engineering in full-length human root canals” which showed that stem cells could be used to regenerate pulp in full-length root canals. This pulp presented functional odontoblast that produced new dentin in the entire canal. This paper received 880% more citations comparing to other paper in Dentistry in the world average.
“Regenerative endodontics in light of the stem cell paradigm” at the 98th place discussed the future of Endodontics with the historical and recent developments in the research with stem cell and other therapies that aim to regenerate tissues.
